Ajwaein Masala Puri

Masala puri is a delicious quick dish. Loved by all in the family. Masala puri can be served with aloo sabzi, daal, achaar, dahi or even with tea as a snack.

It can be preserved for 2-3 days & can be used as a snack. Best food to be carried while travelling.


2 cup Wheat flour

1 cup Gram flour (besan)

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp coriander powder

Pinch asephitide (hing)

Salt to taste

1 tsp Ajwaein seedsĀ½ glass water

2 cup oil


a.)   Mix both the flours in a vessel & add all the mentioned spices

b.)   Add 2 tsp oil, water & make a tight dough

c.)   Create small balls to make small puris

d.)   Heat the oil on high flame.

e.)   After the oil is heated reduce the flame to medium & fry the puris
