Chickpeas Gravy (Chole ki Sabji)

1 bowl boiled chickpeas

6-7 curry tree leaves

2 Tomatoes

1 green chilli

½ Tablespoon ginger

1 Tablespoon red chilli powder

½ Tablespoon turmeric powder

1 Tablespoon coriander powder

4 Tablespoon gram flour

Edible oil

2 dry red chillies

½ Small Tablespoon asafoetida

Method

Cook oil in low flame. When smoke is seen coming from oil put asafoetida (½ ts). After 1 minute put red chillies in it. Now mix tomatoes, curry leaves, green chilli and ginger.

Mix it properly and add red chilli powder, turmeric and salt.

MIx it properly and after 5 minutes add chickpeas. Add water if required. After leaving it for 5 minutes, add water few drops to gram flour and mix properly. Now add this gram flour water to the gravy we made. It will make it thicker.

Leave it for 5-10 minutes after mixing it properly.

Serve with whatever suits your taste. Best serves with chapati and paratha.
