Fenugreek Fritters (Methi ke Pakode)

1 Bowl Gram Flour

2 Tablespoon Wheat Flour

A bunch of Fenugreek leaves

Paste of Green Chilli and Ginger

½ Small tablespoon black pepper powder

1 Tablespoon red chilli powder

1 small tablespoon coriander powder

Method

Mix gram flour and wheat flour in a pan and add paste of chilli and ginger, black pepper powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder. At last add fenugreek leaves. Now make a paste by mixing all the items.

Now, cook oil in low flame.  When oil surpasses smoke level, pick small quantity of paste in  hand and drop table tennis sized balls on oil and fry them.

Drop 2-3 balls as per the size of pan. Fry them properly by flipping sided.

Take them out when the colour of the balls turn brown/red. Do not over fry or it will be burned.

Serve what suits you best.

Recommended: Sauce, Pickle.

Serves – 1-2 persons.
