Khichu

A gujarati breakfast madeup of riceflour. It is also known as rice flour upma or papdi no lot. It is very easy to prepare & instant. It is a favorite of all in family & also lite for digestion, good for health.

Ingredients:

1 cup Rice flour Pinch of turmeric powder Pinch of red chilli powder Salt to taste

1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustered seeds
2-3 whole dried red chilli
2-3 curry leaves
1 green chilli finely chopped
1/2 ginger finely chopped
1  glass water2 tbsp oil

Procedure:

a.)   Heat the oil & add mustured seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli, green chilli, curry leaves & ginger

b.)   Add Water, salt, turmeric powder & boil for 5 minutes

c.)   Add rice flour slowly & stir well
d.)   Cover it with lid & cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves. Now it is ready to serve hot
