Radish Curry (Mooli Tamatar ki Sabji)

1 Radish with Leaves

1 Tomato (small pieces)

1 Tablespoon Sugar

½ Tablespoon Mustard Seeds

½ Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder

1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder

Edible oil

½ Small Tablespoon Asafoetida

1-2 Dry Red Chillies


Divide leaves from radish and cut both in small pieces.Wash properly and rinse than spread some salt. After few minutes leave it for a while.


Put 2 tablespoon oil in a pan to cook. After waring oil enough, add asafoetida, mustard oil, Dry Red chillies.

After few minutes, add the radish and leaves rinsing well, in the oil. Now add, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, sugar and tomatoes.

Mix it properly for 3-4 minutes.

Serve with what suits you best.

Recommended – Chapati, Rice

Serves – 1-2 persons
