Rice Fritters / Rice Cutlet (Chawal ke Pakode)

½ Bowl Rice (boiled)

1 Bowl Gram Flour

1 Green Chilli

1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder

½ Small Tablespoon Ginger (tiny pieces)

Few Coriander Leaves

Preparation

MIx rice and gram flour in a deep pot, mix ½ glass of butter milk and cover the top. Now leave it for 7-8 hours. Now it will be ready to use.

Method

Now, in battermix salt, red chilli powder, green chilli pieces, ginger pieces, coriander powder.

Now, cook oil on low flame, while it cooks, mix the batter properly, don’t make it thin. When oil cook well, pick some batter in hand and drop manchurian sized balls in oil. A spoon can be used to drop batter in oil.

Now fry it well till it turns brown completely. Make sure to fr properly from every side.

Serve with what suits you best.

Recommended – sauce, mayonnaise

Serves –  2-3 Persons
