Spiced Sweet Potato (Shakarkand Sabji)

2 Sweet Potato (small pieces)

2 Tablespoon Oil

1 Tablespoon Black Cumin Seeds

1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Powder

1 Tablespoon Turmeric Powder

1 Tablespoon Coriander Powder

1 Dry Red Chilli

1 Green Chilli (small pieces)

4-5 Tiny Ginger Pieces

4-5 Curry Leaves

4-5 Coriander Leaves

Method

Cook oil in a pot for few minutes. Now, fry cumin seeds, dry red chilli and sweet potato pieces. Now add ½ glass of water.

Cover the top by lid and leave it to cook for 6-9 minutes. Now check sweet potatoes will become soft if cooked.

Now, add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt.

Spread curry leaves, coriander leaves, green chilli and ginger pieces. Now mix it properly.

Serve with what suits your taste.
