Sweet Potato Dessert with Jaggery (Shakarkand Halwa)

2-3 sweet potatoes (mashed, still hot)

4 Tablespoon clarified butter

2 Tablespoon jaggery

1 Tablespoon mix dry fruits


Put mashed sweet potatoes in clarified butter and fry till it turns yellow/golden color.

After frying the sweet potatoes in clarified butter,add ½ glass of water and add jaggery (as per taste). Don’t forget to keep on moving ladle in the mixture while heating.

Fry until it becomes a sticky dough and add dry fruits on top and serve.

Serves – 2 person
